About Me
I grew up playing with Barbie Dolls and riding my bike in Milpitas, California. Made diorama shoe box houses for My Little Ponies at age 5, and hand sewing doll clothes before I was 10. By age 12, the family moved to Madera, then found my home in Fresno, California by 21. I have my daughter and I hope to have one more before I turn 35. Maybe! The dental world was on my mind so I took up a few years in dental assisting. Later, I followed my artistic path & quit my job in the dental field in May 2011.
I enjoy cooking, reading, and creating jewelry. Drawing was also a deep passion, but do it seldom due to hand cramps. Jack White is usually on the Ipod, or At The Drive-In on my Pandora station. Tool, Deftones, and Ska are some other stations I listen to. Although I am quite an open person, only a few friends are dear to my heart. I dislike thieves, hot weather, and fast food. Time alone is the best, and there's a cat lady in da house, "What What!"
I taught myself to create jewelry using polymer clay in my first years. Then I learned resin and fell in love. It started off as a hobby and I started to post my crafts on my old MySpace account. People started to purchase my creations and it felt good! I would wear my creations when I would go out on the town, and I have had girls buy my stuff as I wore it! Once, right in line to use the restroom at a busy diner. I was inspired to take my crafting seriously by reading many inspirational blogs. An Etsian for a few years before I quit that big bill and started to sell on my own, and on Facebook auctions. I wake up and create til I go to sleep. I work hard.
My goal would be to have this small business turn into something fancy. Duh! OK, well, I have so many ideas that I cannot create. I would love to have a team to work with and help put my ideas together. a normal sleep schedule, and maybe a nice Paris vacation once a year. Is that too much to ask? =:0)
